“Wyoming Needs Agriculture” Day is coming to a University of Wyoming Cowboy Basketball game on Feb. 24, 2016 and the Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation (WyFB) is proud to sponsor the game day event. The Cowboys play San Diego State University with tip-off at 8 p.m. in Laramie. Fans are encouraged to visit the WyFB booth prior to the game.
Promoting Wyoming farmers and ranchers and Farm Bureau’s “Harvest for All” program will be the premier focus of the event. Cowboy fans are asked to bring a canned food item or two to donate to the Farm Bureau “Harvest for All” program. Canned goods and monetary donations will be collected at the WyFB booth on the concourse of the Arena Auditorium.
The Farm Bureau Young Farmer & Rancher “Harvest for All” is a national program that raises food and money for local and state food banks who provide hunger relief. In Wyoming, the WyFB YF&R program contributes donations to the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies and various local hunger-relief agencies affiliated with the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies.
Help us put a face on agriculture and raise food donations for the “Harvest for All” program by encouraging folks you know to bring canned food and monetary donations to the Arena Auditorium on Feb. 24. Wyoming Needs Agriculture! Agriculture; Keeping Wyoming Strong!
