The Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation (WyFB) is pleased to announce Carolyn Hageman will join the staff as Administrative Assistant mid-May. In this position, Hageman will provide professional administrative support to WyFB staff.
Hageman graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelors degree in Agriculture Communications, with an Agricultural and Applied Economics minor. She completed her masters degree in Agricultural Sciences from Colorado State University this May.
Carolyn grew up on her family’s commercial cow/calf ranch west of Ft. Laramie, Wyo. She was involved in 4-H for nine years and FFA for two years.
“I have been around agriculture my entire life and have always wanted to be an advocate in promoting and protecting it,” Hageman said. “I feel the Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation is an incredible agricultural organization that does all of those things, as well as serving as a resource for farmers and ranchers. I hope to build relationships with members around the state, as well as work with the state of Wyoming to ensure that agriculture stays strong.”
“We are pleased to have Carolyn join our team,” Ken Hamilton, WyFB Executive Vice President, said. “Her background in agriculture will be a great asset for the organization.”
Carolyn’s passion for agriculture is strong. “I am really looking forward to working for the Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation, and working with Farm Bureau members,” Hageman concluded. “The Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation has already done great things for the state, and I hope to contribute to those efforts as well as continue to be an advocate for agriculture both in Wyoming and beyond.”
