On August 03, 2016 at about 1324 hours, the Wyoming Livestock Board Law Enforcement and Investigation Division concluded a criminal investigation with the arrest of Roberto Lozano FUENTES within southeastern Sublette County on the felony charges violating Wyoming Statute(s) 6-3-413, Livestock Rustling and 11-30-104, Misbranding or Altering Brand of Livestock.

Mr. Fuentes was taken into custody, transported to the Sublette County Jail in Pinedale, Wyoming and booked on the above listed charges without incident. This investigation began on August 02, 2016 at about 1400 hours and involved allied agency deputies from the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office and Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office.

The livestock in this case have been seized as evidence of the crime and will be returned to the lawful owner(s) at a later date.

The charge of Livestock Rustling is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten
(10) years, a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00), or both.

The charge of Misbranding or Altering Brand of Livestock is a felony and if convicted, the person SHALL be imprisoned in the penitentiary not less than three (3), nor more than ten (10) years.

The Wyoming Livestock Board, Law Enforcement and Investigation Division along with Wyoming County Sheriff’s, Wyoming Highway Patrol, Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation are continually working together “Protecting our Livestock Industry” by detecting, investigating and apprehending suspected violators within the Great State Of Wyoming.

We also cooperate in criminal investigations with all the Western Brand Inspection States.
