Wyoming Farm Bureau accepting requests for charitable contributions – April 12, 2010

Laramie–The Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation (WyFB) is accepting requests for charitable contributions for 2010.  Each year the organization is able to make charitable contributions thanks to a program offered by FBL Financial Group, Inc.

“We are proud to contribute financial assistance to organizations whose work benefits the agriculture industry in the state of Wyoming,” Perry Livingston, WyFB President, said.  “We encourage qualifying organizations to submit their proposals to us so they may be considered for this year’s charitable contributions budget.”

Requests will be considered for organizations who meet the following criteria:

  • The organization must be classified as 501 (c) (3) by the IRS.
  • The organization must serve Farm Bureau members or residents of communities where Farm Bureau is an employer or:
    • Industry educational organizations that provide direct or indirect benefit to Farm Bureau.
    • Health organizations that promote practices or educational programs beneficial to Farm Bureau.
