WyFB thanks McKenzi Digby and welcomes Jessica Romero – April 29, 2019
With appreciation for devoting her time, talent and dedication to the Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation, we thank McKenzi Digby for serving the organization as the Office Manager and Creative Director since May 2, 2016. Digby’s last day with WyFB will be May 24. She is engaged to marry Kendall Green on May 31, 2019. Following their wedding, the couple will live and work on Kendall’s family ranch near Cohagen, Montana.
“We’re certainly happy for McKenzi and her fiancé and wish them both the best,” said Ken Hamilton, WyFB Executive Vice President. “McKenzi has certainly contributed to our organization in many, many ways and helped with all of the important things that go on behind the scenes to keep Farm Bureau running smoothly. While we’re sad to see her go, we are very happy that she and her fiancé will be staying in agriculture.”
“I would like to thank the Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation staff, Board of Directors, and membership for a truly wonderful three years of employment,” Digby said. “My time with Farm Bureau is responsible for numerous friendships and both professional and personal growth.”
“I feel so blessed to have been entrusted this position to serve the agriculture producers of our great state and have sincerely enjoyed every minute of it,” she continued. “I am thankful I have had the freedom to use my strengths to benefit the organization and was granted patience when learning new skills. I hope to remain part of the Farm Bureau family upon my move to Montana.”
Digby is passionate about agriculture and its people. She feels it a great honor to have worked for a grassroots organization whose strength is in its people.
“Having been behind the scenes in the state office, I would like our membership to know that this organization truly is fighting for your individual rights every day,” Digby concluded. “I will dearly miss all of you as well as the privilege of serving you on the frontlines.”
Jessica Romero joins WyFB team
The Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation welcomes Jessica Romero as the Office Manager/Executive Secretary. Romero began with WyFB on April 23.
Romero has spent the majority of her life in Wyoming and considers Laramie her permanent home. “I have been fortunate enough to work, live and raise my children in this community,” she stated. Romero has three children; Luke, Savannah and Noah.
“We are a close family that likes to travel, hike and otherwise enjoy all the great things our little town and state have to offer,” said Romero.
Prior to this position, Romero worked for Mountain West Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company as an underwriting assistant the last few years.
“I have really enjoyed working for Mountain West Farm Bureau,” she stated. “I’m excited and blessed to have found the opportunity to move over to the Federation and further my knowledge of this great company.”
“I believe that this new position with the Federation will allow me to really learn and understand Wyoming agriculture in an up close and personal way,” Romero concluded. “The Federation team is small but mighty and I hope to really bring a skill set that compliments this awesome group of folks.”
“We welcome Jessica to our team and look forward to her joining us as the Office Manager and Executive Secretary,” said Ken Hamilton, WyFB Executive Vice President.
