Wyoming Livestock Board Listening Session Aug. 17

The Wyoming Livestock Board [WLSB] has scheduled a Listening Session for Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in Douglas. Registration at 8:30 a.m. and the Listening Session will start at 9:00 a.m.
The Listening Session will be held at the Wyoming State Fair grounds, east side of Cafeteria in Douglas, WY. If you plan to attend the listening session but are not going to the fair please go to the South Parking Lot (Animal Health Check In/Ticket Booth), located off of Brownfield Road and let the ticket personnel know and we will make sure the attendees are able to get to the listening session without being charged an admission fee. Please note that attendees will not be able to drive into the fairgrounds, all attendees will get free gate admission but must park their vehicles outside the fairgrounds gate and shuttle into the fairgrounds. Free shuttle service is available from the South Parking Lot.
The Wyoming Livestock Board wants to hear from the industry. Some of the issues that will be discussed are Brands, Animal Health, Disease updates, Animal Traceability/ID and a guest speaker Dr. Karl Musgrave of Department of Health will be giving public health /zoonotic disease update.
