EPA delays implementation of Worker Protection Standard Rule- May 31, 2017
Worker Protection Standard rule will be delayed by EPA. The American Farm Bureau Federation was among the farm groups who had joined the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture in requesting a delay in implementation. AFBF and NASDA cited EPA violations of federal law as well as incomplete and undelivered compliance and enforcement tools to support their petition. The Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation is pleased with this decision. “We support this effort because it not only makes economic sense, it will lead to clearer information being provided when everyone fully understands the rules,” said Ken Hamilton, WyFB Executive Vice President.
