Discussion Meet
The Discussion Meet contest is designed to simulate a committee meeting where discussion and active participation are expected from each participant. This competition is evaluated on an exchange of ideas and information on a pre-determined topic. The judges are looking for the contestant that offers constructive criticism, cooperation, and communication while analyzing agricultural problems and developing solutions.
The postmark deadline to submit applications is October 14, 2009.
Prizes:
The winner of the WyFB Discussion Meet contest receives the following:
- $500 cash prize from Dodge
- Trip to AFBF annual meeting in Seattle, Wash. Jan. 10-11, 2010 to compete in the National Discussion Meet, where the grand prize is a Dodge Truck.
In the event any of the above event prizes/awards are unavailable, WyFB reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value in its sole discretion.
The runner-up receives:
- $250 cash award from Mountain West Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company.
