Decision 2010 – Statewide Debate Series with online viewing
The Cowboy State Free Press is partnering with Wyoming PBS, Casper Star Tribune, Wyoming Business Report, and Wyoming Public Radio to produce a series of debates covering the contested statewide races.
In a unique collaboration between thatsWy.com and the Cowboy State Free Press the entire debate series will be offered via live streaming video far beyond the PBS-TV coverage area, and be archived for easy access whenever a viewer chooses. In addition, the Cowboy State Free Press will be implementing interactive online polling and discussion surrounding the debates.
The live streaming video and interactive online accompaniments are made possible by the generous support of our sponsors including Brimmer Communications, the Wyoming Liberty Group, Wyoming Farm Bureau Foundation, Wyoming Wind Power Producers Coalition, and the Wyoming Bankers Association.
The primary election debates for statewide elected offices will be held at Wyoming PBS on the campus of Central Wyoming College, August 9-11 and broadcast live (the debates will also be re-broadcast before the election). Tune in at the following dates and times to watch the primary election debates:
- Monday, August 9 (7:00 PM) – Republican gubernatorial debates (90 minutes)
- Tuesday, August 10 (7:00 PM) – Democratic gubernatorial debates (60 minutes)
- Tuesday, August 10 (8:00 PM) – Republican U.S. House of Representatives debate (30 minutes)
- Tuesday, August 10 (8:30 PM) – Republican State Auditor Debate (30 minutes)
- Wednesday, August 11 (7:00 PM) – Republican Superintendent of Public Instruction debate (60 minutes)
